16-07.24 - Rockport Custom Home Progress

Watch and see the changes that take place as this custom home in Rockport comes out of the ground over the last 30 days.  In just one month this project has gone from an open lot to a completely framed home ready to begin interior wiring / plumbing and finishes.  This custom home sits on a pie shaped corner cul-de-sac lot and utilizes every inch.  We developed a unique floor plan to best fit the lot and believe the finished product is going to be stunning.  Check back to see as this project becomes a unique combination between Rustic and Modern Farmhouse as interior finishes begin over the next couple of months.

45 Days in just 1 Minute

Earlier this week we showed you some aerial footage of a custom home we currently have under construction.  Today we'd like to show you another angle at this same project.  We've been collecting small video segments every hour since the first date of dirtwork on this project.  Today we're excited to show you our work on this project over the last 45 days.  So with that, I bring to you - Foundation to Framing in just over one minute.

Today, we'll show you in just one minute exactly what can be accomplished in approximately forty-five days of residential construction.  However, do NOT let the one minute fool you.  All of our subcontractors worked very hard to make this much happen in such a short period of time! With that, please enjoy video below and follow us for future updates!

16-03.29 - Custom Home Construction Progress - Foundation to Framing

See what we've been up to over the last month and a half at Cain Construction!  We've begun framing roof rafters on this custom home.  It has certainly been an exciting project working with a videographer using aerial footage in order to document this project in an exciting new way.  We are able to use this footage to give you a look into the process it takes in order to bring a custom home from a thought to a reality.  We'll continue journaling our way through this amazing custom home, so please follow us and check back for new updates.  Framing should be complete next week and then we will begin our work on the inside!

Great Plains Kubota - Site Work

One thing I love about construction, is that no two projects are ever the same.  Even if it is for the exact same client with a very similar plan....  We have began construction on a new facility for Great Plains Kubota in Shawnee - well at least the sitework portion.  Because of backlog in the permitting office, we have had to approach this project in a unique manner which is much different than when we completed the Kubota Facility in Edmond a little over a year ago.  We are basically building the project backwards - Site & Parking First / Building Last.  As you can see from the aerial photos, we are near completion on the sitework, and haven't even dug a footing for the building yet.  In construction, you always have to be able to adjust and make decisions to best suit each individual project... Instead of waiting 3 months for our permit, we chose to take advantage of that time so that once we receive our permit, we'll be that much closer to completion.  As soon the permit comes - it will be off to the races.  Keep a watch, we'll update as we proceed through the project.

Footing & Pad Construction - Custom Home

At Cain Construction, we look for unique ways to showcase our customer's projects so they can feel involved in every step of the process.  We also realize, that most people do not get to experience the thrill of seeing a house rise from the ground to completion.  For that reason, we are working on a project to show you exactly what custom home construction entails. We'll be taking aerial video and photography at each stage, as well as using timelapse photography in order to show you a glimpse of the entire process in just a few short videos.  Above you'll find the first of the series where we are digging the footing in preparation for underground and construction of foundations.

Check back to see the progression of this custom home over the next couple of months as we make this family's dream a reality.
